I graduated from Southampton University in 1984 with a First Class Degree in Mathematics. I then joined Roke Manor Research, then part of Plessey, now part of Siemens, as a software engineer, where I stayed for twenty five years, working on a large number of projects, using many different languages, and in a variety of scenarios. I joined MicroSec in 2010, where my learning curve continues to grow.

When not working or spending time with the wife and kids, I am often found cheering on Bath City Football Club in Conference South.
